A beautiful blend of Bordeaux varietals. The grapes were allowed to hang on the vine to achieve optimum flavors then hand harvested, fermented and aged in small oak cooperage for 17 months.
Big and bold, it is dominated by full flavors of dried black cherries, jammypreserves and layers of spice and sweet vanilla. The Show combines grapes from the Central and North Coast AVAs.
Winemaking in the region tends to focus on balancing the high sugar levels in the grape with the tannins, and phenols that are common in red Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
